Description

This is a faux Boston Fern at 2.5 feet - the arching, feathery fronds of the Boston Fern form in a floor-scale composition set in a tall gray planter. The tall, narrow planter elevates the plant, which gives the cascading fronds room to arch and trail below the canopy line in the way the Boston Fern form reads best. At 24 inches wide and 30 inches tall, this is the right scale for a floor position in a residential room, a boutique office, or a commercial interior where a soft, fine-leafed botanical form is needed at standing height.

The gray planter is included and does meaningful work here - the height of the vessel relative to the canopy width gives the composition a more architectural, considered presence than a standard low pot would. A strong choice for an entryway, a corner beside a sofa, or any position where a soft botanical form with genuine floor presence is the brief.
