Description

This is a faux Calathea - the Peacock Plant - at three feet. The large, broadly oval leaves rise from reddish stems on multiple upright stalks, with the characteristic feathered yellow-green patterning across a deep green base that makes the Calathea form as visually specific up close as it is in silhouette. At 30 inches wide and 36 inches tall, this is a floor-scale composition with genuine presence - wide enough to anchor a corner and tall enough to read across a room without requiring a tree-scale footprint.
